This is an excellent product for ensuring your kids get vit D3 (not D2 found in milk, etc). The slight lemon flavor hides any unpleasantness. My son actually likes it and reminds me to give it to him.
cod liver oil October 13, 2008
My dr. told me my vitamin D levels were low. I began taking this cod liver oil and it is not bad to swallow. Has a slight lemon taste to it.
Hopefully my re-testing will show that it has improved.

Best product of it's type for kids. Lemon flavor is excellent. Kids actually ask for it.

...and that mission was to get my kids to take Cod Liver Oil! Really, there is no fishy-ness about this; the taste is all lemon. It's a great "winter oil" for us, as we do live in a sunny state, and I don't want us to O-D on the vitamin D. If my kids want a cookie or other treat, I say, "Sure, as soon as you take your medicine." It's a little underhanded but it works for us (smile).

My kids take this without hesitation. I feel that this has made a difference in their health. This is one of the purest cod liver oils you can purchase. Its also great tasting.
