 Simple and Easy June 5, 2008
This seat installs in seconds and works great. It flips up nice and flush so it won't cause the main seat to fall back down at an inopportune moment. It's very stable and kid friendly, no worries that it will slip off and cause an accident. I bought 3 of them so every toilet in my house has one! this is a great product.

This seat is not designed to fit all elongated toilet seats. it won't fit two of our toilets. This is not an elongated bowl vs. round bowl issue. This is a lid compatability issue. They explain the issue of elongated vs round bowl but this issue of lid compatability, they don't explain to you at all. You need a lid with additional clearance at the hinges. We have two new model lids (purchased within the last two years) and they close snugly on top of the existing seat, therefore there is not clearance at the hinges for this additional seat. One of the lids is also too wide at the hinges. A company running out a product should be required to do a bit more research so they can inform their potential customers of potential design issues. Just a poorly thought out product by the manufacturer. Purchase at your own risk. I should have understood what the other two customers were describing.
Great Product! October 23, 2007
We loved this idea for a potty seat since the bathroom our child uses is the guest bathroom. The portable seats all slid around and made our son afraid to use the potty. You have to get the type that is designed for your toilet (standard or elongated) in order to get the right fit!! This seat fits exactly as it is supposed to and my son loves sitting on the grown-up potty. It took awhile to find the seat for the elongated toilet so we were thrilled when we could get it on Amazon.
If the lower lid doesn't stay up, or the potty seat doesn't stay up (a complaint I've seen a few places), all it takes is a simple adjustment. I just pull the potty seat forward a little and it works perfectly!

I've tried different brands of these products, including this one, and the problem I have is that when the lower lid is raised (for boys and men to use the toilet), this product keeps the lower lid from staying up. While this is mildly annoying for men, it can be dangerous or scary for little boys. Imagine trying to potty train, trying to figure out how to pee while balancing the lower lid up with one hand. Too hard. And if they let go of the lower lid, slam...ouch. While this is a great product idea, the design needs to be changed to allow the lower lid to stay up.

It didnt fit my toilet we had to cut it a lit it bit so it can fit, now the only way to use it is by taking off the toilet, not able to flip it. It slides. Not good
